Dooley wasn't happy, it was Monday and he had to go to school. That meant getting his astormobile fired up and ready to go. You see, Dooley's school wasn't down the street or even across town, it was on another planet. In the year 3008 all the worlds had come together and learned to live in peace. That wasn't always easy but anything worth while never is.
When different looking creatures first started landing on new planets there wasn't always complete understanding of each other. This fellow needed directions when his space ship landed and asked a passing man for some information. When the man didn't know how to help him, he took out his pop gun and shot him. It didn't really hurt the man, just ruined his new sweater.
Things like that made everyone very nervous at first. It took a long time for people to see each how each different planet felt about different things. It was scary and even funny sometimes! The Spider Mites (as they came to be called because of their many arms and small size) from planet Pluto, were trouble makers at first.
Having so many arms, the Spider Mites were very good with all kinds of weapons. What they had to learn, like all of us do, is that most problems can be solved without ever picking up a weapon. Most of the time a good talk with people will almost always solve problems.
In this new world of all worlds, each planet had very different creatures who lived there. Some new planets were like Earth was millions of years ago. They had cavemen and women and some dinosaurs too. As a matter of fact Dooley's teacher this year was Ms. Rhiny Diny. She was a wonderful teacher but life on her planet was very different than on Dooley's.
While Dooley cruised around on his space cycle, Ms. Diny still preferred her stone mobile! Boy, the way the creatures all got around was so different and lots of fun to watch. Especially fun to see were the rovers. Planet Techtron was just that, all tech creatures. Actually they all were droids or robots of one style or another.
Mars was one of Dooley's favorites. He loved the little green men and all their rovers. They had all kinds and were lots of fun to watch. One of the cutest rovers was named Digger. Mainly because his job was to roll around and look at all the different kinds of rocks that were on what is known as the red planet.
Since Mars was one of the closest planets Dooley visited a lot, he would just put on his back pack rocket and fly off. He really enjoyed how friendly everyone on Mars was. It wasn't unusual to see the green men shaking hands with the little land rovers. No one ever argued or got into fights on Mars. They were very peaceful creatures.
Dooley thought even the green worms with purple hair on Mars were neat. All they did was sit and laugh at everything. Dooley knew it was almost time for his midterm test and that Ms. Diny was writing them up on her old Mac-a-Stone computer. She had warned all the kids the test would mostly be technical. Dooley decided he better head to Techtron to learn more about robots and machines.
It is such a neat planet. When Dooley arrived he saw robots eating green light sticks. Next, a droid walking his robot dog. Dooley loved this planet! Every where he looked were new and wonderful electronic games and machines. One of Dooley's favorite droids, was the rock droid from Mars. For years and years people wondered why they couldn't see life on Mars. Finally a little rover found the stone droids.
It was absolutely amazing when the stone droids were discovered. Suddenly, everyone realized that some of the things the Earth's telescopes had been seeing really may have been stone droids. It was a very exciting time. On Techtron, the largest group of robots were named the Cobalts, largely because of their beautiful cobalt blue color. Most of them were good working robots but like all of us, had a few occasional problems.
Thank goodness there were doctor robots who fixed the ones who had problems. One fellow had lost an arm and another was having a problem with his head spinning in circles. Talk about a headache, the poor fellow had a big one! When the Cobalts were in good working order, they were one of the best robots in all the worlds.
Back on Earth, Ms. Rhiny Diny was hiding from a robot camera she spotted. Which was taking pictures of all the creatures that went by. She was always having fun with something. During play ground time at school, she was the favorite teacher of all the children and creatures.
She would toss the kids up in the air on her big tail. They all loved that. Ms. Diny was a great hula hooper too! She could keep up with the best of them with a hula hoop. There was almost nothing the children and robot kids couldn't talk Ms. Diny into trying. One day they even had her on the play ground teeter totter.
She did a really good job balancing on that teeter totter. Some of the kids said she was good enough to be a circus star. The one thing everyone loved the most about Ms. Diny, was her wonderful personality and her jolly laugh. When Ms. Diny laughed, no one could help but laugh with her!
The children loved Ms. Diny so much they gave her a pretty yellow flower on her birthday and one of her cobalt friends even had roses for her. Ms. Diny was so surprised and please she almost had tears in her eyes. She is a very special, kind dinosaur.
Dooley got an A+ on his technology report so his parents gave him a cute robot dog he named Robo. He just thought the name fit. All the aliens, robots, creatures and people were getting along better and better everyday. The Cobalts were all back in great working condition. They were certainly impressive as they marched down the streets.
Even the Spider Mites were learning there were many more things they could do with so many arms. Like play any kind of ball! They weren't sure why but people suddenly thought of them as heroes. That was ok with the Spider Mites. They got a big money endorsement from Nike for Spider Mite tennis shoes. They decided this was much better than fighting with people!
It was getting late in the day. Most Cobalts were going to sleep. Dooley and Rover decided they should go to bed too. Up in the sky was a bright beautiful star. On it sat a sweet angel and her little angel dog. She was thinking, finally the worlds were learning to live together and the Universe was going to be wonderful. It was an exciting place to be more and more every day! After all, when golf spreads throughout the universe somethings got to be going right!
WORLDS CAN LIVE TOGETHER WHEN WE ALL EXCEPT EACH OTHER!
